DeVilbiss responded to the automotive industry's call for a lighter weight spray gun with all the features of its predecessor when it first introduced the JGP/V Production Gun. Its proven success within the automotive and furniture industry can also be realized by other industries - such as appliances, aviation/aerospace, general finishing/industrial, metals and wood finishing-- for high-production spray finishing with greatly increased user comfort.
The lightweight JGP/V gun is built with a solvent-resistant composite gun body, making it easier to handle and hold throughout the application; thereby reducing operator fatigue. The lightweight JGP/V Production Gun eases the risk of Cumulative Trauma Disorder (CTD), while providing all the advanced spray consistency of aluminum guns.
The JGP/V Production Spray Gun has the fit and feel of classic DeVilbiss styling, and the proven fluid tip technology in a lightweight, corrosion resistant package. JGP/V is available in both conventional (JGP) and HVLP (JGPV) models. It uses all the DeVilbiss standard-issue needles, nozzles and air caps so parts remain interchangeable.
"The automotive industry has responded enthusiastically to the lightweight production gun, and have noticed reduced operator fatigue," said Chuck Scott, Marketing Manager. "We'd like to extend the same advantage to other industries so that they can meet their high-production finishing demands while easing the physical strain on their operators."
DEVILBISS CLEANAIR™ SOLUTIONS EXTEND LIFE OF PNEUMATIC TOOLS
The DeVilbiss CleanAir™ product line offers air filtering units and regulators that extend the life of pneumatic tools by filtering out water, oil aerosols and dirt particulates from air lines.
In addition to saving customers money by avoiding the pinholes, blushing, fisheyes and dulling associated with costly rework; the DeVilbiss air filtering units and regulators prevent contaminant buildup that can affect the performance and the useful life of the associated pneumatic tools.
The CleanAir™ product line features three types of filtering units:
- Centrifugal Filter-Regulator Units. Filtering out water and oil aerosols and dirt particles up to 5 microns, the centrifugal units supply cleaner, drier air to each spray gun in a system.
- Coalescer Filter-Regulator Units. Coalescer filter-regulators remove water, dirt and oil from the system down to .01 micron, making them ideal for most spray applications, especially where oil aerosols may be a problem.
- Three-Stage Desiccant Units. The ultimate in clean dry air, the three-stage unit offers particulate removal to 5 microns, .01 micron, and water vapor filtering to a dew point of -40 F.
DeVilbiss also offers a companion accessory, the Whirlwind™ disposable In-Line Filter. This filter attaches to the base of the spray gun or air tool to remove any remaining water, oil, dirt and rust from the air line.
